M&S The Big Daddy - chunky chocolate bar with pistachio creme caramel & pistachio pieces - has anyone tried this yet? I have just bought my first bar and tried some - I thought it was very nice and very moreish! I’m not sure I would buy again as it was quite expensive but if you like chocolate it certainly hits the spot. Only negative I thought is that it very messy and it is just in a box with no other wrapping. I have had to go and hide it from myself before I eat any more as I have already eaten a quarter of it!

Can’t you ask yourself where you’ve hidden it and go and get it?

I bought my DCs one of the peanut and caramel ones each for Xmas and luckily my eldest didn’t eat his! It was amazing. Need to try the pistachio ones.

Definitely worth trying the pistachio one!

Are they a Tony's rip off

JohnnyLuLus · 20/06/2025 23:36

The pistachio one is amazing. Like a fancier and much more delicious Snickers. I keep mine in the fridge and cut off a small piece every few days so I can make it last ages and the ridiculous price doesn't feel so bad.

Apparently it’s not a direct rip off but does share similarities

I love the Big Daddies!! I was surprised at how nice the pistachio one is cause I was expecting it to be quite sickly!

Yeah it is a huge slab of chocolate and if you cut it into say 8 pieces each piece would cost about the price of a normal chocolate bar I guess

Just right for me and my sweet tooth!

The lack of internal wrapper was strangely off putting. I'd have preferred not to have the caramel layer as it over powered the pistachio bit.

I wouldn't buy another bar myself as I couldn't justify spending so much on a bar of chocolate, but obviously I'd force myself to eat another bar if someone bought me one as a present!

Great photos! I quite liked the caramel layer but I do like caramel anyway. I agree very expensive for a bar of chocolate

I loved it too. Oddly satisfying

JingsMahBucket · 21/06/2025 01:19

How much do they cost?

I think it was £8.50 for a 280g bar.
