UK relocate to Switzerland, Any Brits on here made the move?

Considering making the move from UK to Switzerland, Husband, 4yro son, and dog. We can only speak English though I’m a French national.
I’m a photographer and my husband owns 2 restaurants here.
is it hard to integrate there? Anyone done it who can share their views? X

You could ask to move your post to the living overseas board where you might get responses with could help?

Would you find work easily? Have you checked the cost of utilities / groceries etc?

Whats the education system like?

We did as expats but only for a few years. Language would be a big advantage and your dc could go to local school. Are your roles easily transferrable?

My friend's parents relocated there from Benelux and both speak French. In the end they moved back to France staying near Geneva so he could commute to work from there. Switzerland they said was harder to integrate and they preferred France but their DC were grown up so that probably change dynamics a lot.

Yes, but to the German speaking area. Where do you intend to move to… what will you be doing for money, and do you intend to learn the language?

It is totally possible to integrate. But it takes time and effort.

Why on earth would you move to Switzerland? The most uptight country in Europe.

I worked there for 13 years. Wouldn't go back. Dull as. Earnt alot. The art is good. Everything works.

It has high standards in education, culture, lifestyle, diverse nature and climate, multi-national, high wages even in basic jobs and opportunities to travel to lots of nearby countries with ease without flying. It's like Sweden or Norway but less depressing.
