Hi all I'm a 46 yo woman. Took a sore back 7 weeks ago nothing major followed by diarrhea for a day then my period (which came 6 days early) more soft stools for a week). The bowels settled but not before my anxiety when through the roof. Got FIT test, calpro test, ovary blood test and other bloods all ran, all clear, ovarian ultrasound and upper abdominal ultrasound also clear. Back still sore changed to like a burning sensation. Period came again shorter cycle I'm normally v.regular 28 days. Diarrhea before and during. Settled again (in fact I'm a bit constipated now :() meantime had xray on back and results back from it are transitional spine with sacrilisation of the fifth vertebral segment plus a grade 1 spondylolythesis of L4 on L5 with a fractured pars interarticularis. Currently waiting for an MRI on that. But I'm still terrified there's something else wrong and can't settle at all. All the other forums with people with this same back injury don't have a burning sensation/hot skin in the ribs and mid back but I do. I should also say I lost my mum to lung cancer just before Christmas last year and I've unfortunately had a lot of childhood trauma. I'm just so worried about my back and the weird bowel stuff.
