Pains in right side

Hi all. It’s been a while since I was pregnant and literally remember nothing.
I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and I am 40yo.
Today I have an aching pain in my right side. Has been there a couple of hours now. I have taken pain killers which as yet haven’t helped. Really uncomfortable.
Any suggestions?

Whereabouts in the right? High by ribs or low by groin? Could be trapped wind or the baby pressure. Give your midwife a call. Lower right pain is possibly appendix grumbling.

It was in my upper right quadrant. I have had my appendix removed so less likely to be that. I had a rest and it settled down after a few hour. Still not sure what it was but if it happens again I will contact the midwife for advice.

If it’s upper R quadrant it could be pain from an inflamed gall bladder. You should get checked out. In the meantime try Gaviscon it really helped with mine
