I went to order some tickets from the Trainline yesterday and normally I have time for them to post them to me, however as this was so close to my travel date and not enough time for them to post, the form said "send SMS", can someone explain what this means?

Thank you.
I am a bit surprised as I would have thought it would have been easier to confirm by email, and I did fill in the bit saying I would collect them from the station. I don't remember giving them my mobile number, but thank you anyway.
