Does anyone use a garden room all year?

I’m thinking of getting a fully stand alone insulated garden room as a separate living space (our downstairs is all open plan and we’d like separate daytime sitting room). We do need to be able to comfortably use it all year round though - will this work or will it be too cold in the winter or too much effort to go across the garden to get to it when its pouring rain?

My husband uses his as an office. It has an electric radiator and is very warm during winter.

As long as it’s insulated and heated it will be fine.

We use ours year round. It's as an office though, so we set the thermostat for the heating to come on as our hours are pretty regular. It can be a faff otherwise having to remember to put the heating on about 20 mins before you want to use it.
