Pale fingernails

Hi , does anyone else suffer with pale fingernails, and how do you get them back to normal ? They feel abit ridgey but i don't habe any other symptoms or issues , thanks for any advice

They look pretty normal to me.

If you are worried about pallor, have you had your blood tested for low iron or ferritin levels recently?

They look completely normal. Go to your GP if you're concerned about blood levels or circulation.

Yeah ive a blood test booked for this week, but was asking if anyone had simliar issues, just have myself worried about it

They look nice and pink.

They look okish in certain light but as in the first picture they seem to be paler, but have blood test booked for this week, just was worrying about it

In the 2nd photo they don't look as bad, but in first photo they are quite pale white

Op there is nothing wrong with your nails, they look perfectly normal and do not warrant a blood test. Do you have any other symptoms?

My nails are nearly always white and almost pale purple. I never knew this was something to be concerned about! I just assumed I am very pale skinned so my nail beds are this colour?

No don't have any other symptoms just though nails are meant to be a light pink and they don't look like that in 1st photo really

I thought if they are pale you could be low in iron levels

Are you breathless? Fatigued? Are the inside of your eyelids pink?

The insides of your eyelids are white or very pale?

They look absolutely normal when taken in context with the rest of your hand.

You have pale skin, your nail beds will be the same in terms of skin tone, often a little paler. Your nails look normal in every picture you have posted.

The fact that you cannot see any pale areas in your eyes suggests that you are probably not anaemic. The GP will be able to put your mind at rest when you visit them this week.

Thanks for your advice , I don't see the GP this week it's just a blood test in the treatment room I cant get an actual GP appointment until last week in May but at least blood test be done before that .

You know when you put pressure in your nail and it goes white then should go back to a light pink colour I don't think mine really do that though

You don’t need a GP appointment, OP, you’re wasting their time. This is an absolute non issue. Do you have health anxiety?

Thanks for your reply, wouldn't say health anxiety just if I think something is wrong like to get it seen to or ask about it

There’s nothing wrong OP. This is like me posting saying my eyelashes look brown - because they are. This is a complete waste of an appointment; sorry.
