Went away with 5 friends last year, I booked my own hotel single room , 10 minutes walk away, reason being their hotel had no single rooms, only double incurring a supplement of around £200. i was waiting for them at their hotel reception, they arrived at midnight where I was there at around 5pm, joking you're here at last, no one uttered a syllable , just disgruntled looks on their faces. Looked at me like they didn't know me. From the first day
it became evident I was being ostracized from the group, them going out and not letting me know where they had gone when everyone has a phone and really no excuse. Someone was trying to suggest it's hard to make arrangements when I'm in a different hotel. My reply was when you have a phone, you might as well be in the next room and added it's as hard as someone wants to make it. The certain individual I've recently discovered has messaged another friend to tell him about me booking alone a year later , so he obviously has a problem that's still eating away at him. Do some have a problem with others being independent and going it alone. I was there for the holiday, I would have thought that's all that matters. I've learned this friend only gets in touch when he wants something and gets barred from Facebook occasionally for making certain comments. To be honest when I've been in his company he moans about anyone for any reason. Anyone else experienced this,Should I erase him from my life.?
