Vinted Dispute Help

I sold an item on Vinted, the buyer made some odd claims about the item (story did not add up) and I offered her a full refund, but asked for the item to be returned so I could inspect it. Buyer was not happy to pay the return cost so then said the item had conveniently broken, and made some claims which were completely untrue (said she could clearly see where I had glued the item - I had not glued the item). Again I offered the buyer a full refund upon return which she initially refused, but now she realises I will not back down on this (I will not back down on the return as I believe the buyer has purposely damaged the item to gain a refund and I would like to inspect it). Her tone all through communication has been rude and aggressive and she keeps changing her story, hence I’m not comfortable giving out my home address for the return. Anyone else been in this position? How do I get her to return it to a parcel shop or somewhere that does not reveal my home address? I’ve been selling on Vinted for a while but never had a complaint / return before. Thanks

Have you filled out the returns request through Vinted and selected the buyer pays for the return postage? Then if they don't post back you get your funds released.

I went through this a few weeks ago. Buyer claimed the trousers I sold were 6 inches shorter than the label. Unlikely as I would have noticed when I wore them!
