Need help with a realistic morning routine – keep falling off the wagon post-meno

Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate some advice or ideas from anyone who’s been through similar. Since hitting menopause, I’ve found it so hard to stick to a routine. I keep starting one with good intentions, then completely fall off the wagon within a few days. It’s frustrating, and I’m definitely noticing the effects – I’ve put on some weight and just feel a bit all over the place.

The weird thing is, I am active overall. I do yoga twice a week, strength training twice a week, and walk the dog for at least an hour most days (5x a week usually). But my mornings are a bit of a mess – I feel like I waste time, faff around, or start the day in reactive mode instead of intentional.

What I’d love is a realistic morning routine that sets me up properly – even something simple like a better wake-up time, breakfast routine, maybe a little journaling or stretching – just something to help me feel more grounded and in control again.

Has anyone managed to find a rhythm that works for them during/after menopause? I’d love to hear what works for you, or any small habits that have helped you feel better physically and mentally.

Thanks so much!
