It's like a huge, thick, heavy pan.

JanH · 14/01/2005 23:45

It's American for a metal casserole dish with lid - lots of pics here .

JanH · 14/01/2005 23:46

Or a giant saucepan I suppose?

Yes, if it's big enough.

I am so sorry to lower the tone on here but if you look at my thread about farting in front of DP/DH someone is talking about a Dutch Oven. So in answer to your question a Dutch Oven it is, apparently, when you break wind and you pull the duvet cover over your partners head to make their eyes sting. Sorry, only going by what I have been told!!!!!

CarrieG · 14/01/2005 23:52

I'm glad you brought that up Sparkler...

SPARKLER1 · 14/01/2005 23:52

{grin] carrie I bet you've been bursting to say something haven't you.........that's right leave it to me!!!!!!

JanH · 14/01/2005 23:53

I don't think that's quite the right kind though, Sparkler

mummytojames · 14/01/2005 23:59

thanks jan i think it should be well big enough
and sparkler i dont think dp would be happy with me putting saucepans in bed just to break wind over them
