Did anyone else’s baby have hair like this at one years old? And if so did they have curly hair when they got older?

Yes, and it's now very curly. Like curly fries curly.

Oh wow! Do you have any recommendations for products you use?

Yes! Same as other poster - now 3B curls. It's really trial and error because you need to match their individual hair needs, so the internet and Amazon are your best friends. Our personal go-tos are Cantu for shampoo/ conditioner, Mielle for daily oil and a deeper moisturiser/ black castor oil once a week. That would be overkill for your LO at the moment though, so just start introducing products slowly and see how the hair feels.
