Mini neck lift

Has anyone had a mini neck lift in the UK, if so were you happy with the result and where did you go?

late 30s, sudden turkey neck which is really getting me down. I’m healthy weight , had three babies including twins in three years. Skin suddenly started sagging after last pregnancy. I am not wanting a full face and neck lift, cannot afford it and don’t feel I need it. Some people say mini neck lift isn’t worth it without a face lift too, is this correct?

advice welcome! Thanks

Hi There. I had a neck lift (along with a facelift) back in Jan 24. By THE pre-eminent neck surgeon on Harley St. Dr Kremer. There is only one review (on realself) by someone, right at the bottom, where the results are poor, and she was fobbed off saying it was the fault of her skin.

I too, have had a VERY poor result from his work (Cobra neck after first op), including a revision surgery which has made a slight improvement, but has left me with a stringy and ropey neck, and a flabby bit along one jaw.

I have consulted with a reconstructive surgeon who said liposuction as a revision procedure is rarely the answer.

So: do NOT be swayed by a Dr's address [ just adds to the costs], nor Tatler et al declaring them "the best neck Dr" [by what metrics?].

Pay for consultations with 3 surgeons (about £200 each) - it will be worth it in the long run to be totally comfortable with your surgeon.

Have it done, for sure; my case is sadly for me, not the norm. There ARE brilliant results out there to be had.

My understanding is that yes, some form of facelift in addition to the neck lift, is preferable - but it's your face; have done only what you want.
