Hi all,
Ive been told today that I am at risk of redundancy… I’ve been with the company for a long time and the payout is attractive would keep me afloat for 2-3 years….
i have been here before and have managed to find employment internally each time… however this time I have 2 toddlers and we have really been struggling with managing the home, kids and work and previous to this my husband and I were discussing me taking a year of parental leave to until the kids are in full time education…
I don’t know if I should take the redundancy news as a welcome looking at my situation… how hard have you found it finding employment after a gap ? ( I have experience of working in finance, however wouldn’t mind a change)
any stories at all? Or thoughts
