Have a 22 year old Kenmore Freezer and would only work when Quick Freeze was pressed
Solution was a small part behind the evaporator cover accessed from inside the freezer. Unplugged the freezer and cut the two fire to remove it. When plugged in it turned on. So installed ne part. Had to use a similar part from a Frigidaire upright freezer but it worked. Just a suggestion. The part was under 30 dollars on Amazon.ca
