New neighbours

For several years I have gone topless in our garden and DD(9) has run around nude. Our neighbours have always been OK with this but we now have new neighbours on one side who I have not yet spoken to. Should I just carry on as before or raise the matter with them - a bit tricky on our first acquaintance . Don't want to offend, but with the sunny weather this week I have been outside topless when neighbours are at work - likely to become an issue if the weather carries on into the weekend. Advice please.

I think you should assume that you can do what you like, within reason, in your own garden. If they object, and you are concerned about offending them, then you can consider modifying your behaviour.

And I think it would sound VERY odd to go round and say 'Hello, nice to meet you and by the way is it okay with you if I go topless in the garden.'

I think it depends on the fences etc between your garden.

If you have shoulder-height fences and/or lots of bushes then I think topless is fine - after all they can choose not to look if they don't want to!

If it's a small garden with waist-height fences then it is perhaps a little in yer face to flash your boobs during their summer garden party. But in moments of privacy I wouldn't worry.

Definitely don't raise it!! Far too toe-curling. Just see if you get any harrumphing and curtain closing from their side, indicating that they aren't happy with the situation.

Littlelapin - No clothes on yet but will put bikini thong on shortly to sit outside. We are clearly overlooked from both sides' upstairs windows but have 6-foot wooden fence all round so it's not like I'm "in yer face"

Anniebear - other neighbours are a couple in their 70's - I think he has an occasional peek but so what . I'm not an exhibitionist and certainly wouldn't pretend to have a great body but I am relaxed about nudity - not concerned about being seen provided I don't cause offence.

I'd be more concerned about making sure you have enough sun tan lotion on. Burnt nipples would be painful.

All seems OK - have been out in the garden for the last two afternoons and haven't heard any complaints so far . Is it just me or do any of you other ladies do this on a hot sunny day?

I honestly thought it was illegal!!!!!’ Ive never, ever considered walking around outside with my breasts out. Would be completely bizarre to me.

Would care less about a woman topless than a man tbh.. Family day out yesterday with hairy guts and moobs everywhere.. Grim.
