Afterlife / NDE

Has anyone ever had any experiences with loved ones who have passed and they have described the afterlife or have had any near death experiences and have experienced something themselves?

I lost my sister suddenly recently and I'm really struggling, the only hope / relief I get is reading up on afterlife or NDE experience stories, strange I know but it gives me comfort

Not afterlife as such. My father died in March and my birthday is in December. I missed my dad but he had a long illness and I was not in the pits of grief... I was happy and getting on with life. The night before my birthday I had a dream that my dad was on my couch and we chatted and drank tea. I asked him why he had been gone so long and he said "You know! im only here because I wanted to say Happy Birthday!". I woke feeling happy to have spent some time (even in a dream) with my dad. I have always had very vivid dreams and my husband can always tell when I'm feeling weird after one. He woke up and asked why this one was about and I told him. We got up and got on with our days. Later, my sister called to give me happy birthday wishes. We chatted for a bit and then she told me that she had had the weirdest dream that out dad came to visit her and they sat on her sofa drinking tea and chatting, but he couldn't stay long because he was coming to visit me for my birthday.
