Normal period?

I posted a week or so ago as I was experiencing sooo many pregnancy symptoms and was late on my period. I started spotting pink/pale brown a couple of days ago and then last night and today it is a deep brown, a little mucus like/clots. But it’s still only ever when I go to the toilet, I’ve had pads on the whole time to monitor and there’s nothing at all on there and not felt any kind of flow.

is it just a very slow/light period and that’s why it’s all brown? There’s no red to it what so ever! Still pregnancy symptoms which are really not normal PMS symptoms for me but assuming there’s no chance with this happening.

Does anyone experience periods like this? Has anyone ever had this during pregnancies?

It's probably a slow starting period. I used to get a week of brown spotting until it turned red. I have pcos and it was linked to that. Someone more knowledgeable will come along with more scientific understanding, but I was told it was something to do with your progesterone being too low.

But, also, to throw a curve ball, when I fell pregnant I had about a week of brown spotting too!! At 4/5 weeks pregnant. But I was taking progesterone suppositories as I'd done ivf.

I'm kinda used to the brown random spotting now but it can be frustrating when you're ttc and not sure what it means. Good luck.

Hmm mine seems to have stopped now too. So two days of pink/rust minimal when wiping and then two days dark brown mucus type when wiping and now nothing. So strange! Will maybe test in a few days just to be sure.
