Hi, I wondered if anyone could help? We're looking at houses and we found a potential one in old moulsham, moulsham drive to be exact. When we research online it says old moulsham is a good place for families but to avoid moulsham. Why is this? And they are so close together how can one be good and one be bad? Does anyone have any experience of these areas and would you recommend them for schools and general safety? I used to live in Romford so I appreciate sometimes what's online isn't a true reflection. We've been looking at great baddow too if that would be a slightly better area? Thanks in advance.

My friend lives in Chelmsford and I've had family live there for years and I work for the council.
Tbh ( and depending where ) I'd prefer Great Baddow , for me it has a nicer feel about the place.
