anyone recommende Doodles WITHOUT socks?

Just got 23 month ds a pair of geox closed sandal/trainer type thing for summer to wear without sockas as he getting so sweaty, reasured in shop fit fine (always go there) but he had them on for 1/2 hour in car WITH socks on but there were big red marks on the back of his heel/ankle.

The only other thing i have been recommended is clarkes doodles. What are these like without socks on anyone??

Crocs were the only thing that stayed on DS2's extra wide feet beyong H fitting last year. They are great and both my boys have them on now. They are so veritile, good for the beach over the pebbles, in the mud and also in the garden when playing with water - Great fore kids, just not for adults

hmmm ok so what sort of price are we looking? Also what are the sizings like? ds is betweent a 4 1/2 - 5 in clarkes and 4 1/2 startright as clarkes come up half size bigger.

Another vote for crocs, or crocalikes

It doesn't matter if they get wet, they don't get smelly, they are comfy and virtually indestructable.

mad4, I paid £20 for my son's crocs in Brantano. He is a 5.5 in Clarks, so I got him the 5/6 size. I think they come up big, so got for a 3 / 4 I reckon. Don't know what the sizes are like in croc-a-likes.

I was needing to get minnie janes for DD anyway, and DH wanted a pair (they don't look as scary as I thought on him... black), so it worked out cheaper to buy 3 pairs from US than here.
