I need you to help me a minute please....

Remember that swing...well DH I tried to put it up at the weekend and its got a fault .

Basically the top frame is 3 poles that slot together (into each other) but in each pole is a series of holes that have been pre cut allowing the screws to attach the poles togther..(still following ...) BUT the middle poles holes are there yet the metal that should have been removed for the hole has mearly been bent back into the pole, which would be fine had the poles been made out of paper...

Means that the poles won't slot into each other because of these bits of metal inside iykwim...DH & I have tried to see if we can bend them back but its difficult/impossible.

I have just called marshall ward (where you got the swing from) but they won't deal with me..
These are the options:

1.You can call them saying the swing was a gift for me, has got a fault and they will deal with it from there..with me I guess...

1. You can let me deal with it BUT I will need your account details etc.

I guess option 2 is the easiest for you BUT I totally understand concerns at letting me have your details....

As I said in the email, if they are willing to "swap" it for something else then I would appreciate it as bit wary of getting same again iykiwm in case of same problem although given price we paid im sure they will notice and will want extra money iykwim...see what you can do though, discount etc.....
