Hi, I'm a teaching assistant so I'm in shoes all day. I shower daily and scrub my feet when I shower but after work my feet smell when I take my shoes off.
I've tried so many shoes and boots but regardless of what I wear they always smell at the end of the day.
For context I wear tights mostly at work, the opaque kind.
What can I do to stop them smelling?

Do you wear the same pair of shoes every day? Are your opaques synthetic or natural fibres?

Wash the tights at 40 with biological washing powder, use hibiscrub on your feet and get new shoes if they smell too.

Are your shoes real leather or pleather? The latter holds smells. You can spray the insides of the shoes with cheap vodka to lift the smell. Soak tights before washing, that fabric too holds smells. Wash at 40. If it's a sweat problem you can try sanitary towels as a shoe liner.

Thank you, I'll try these methods.
It seems to happen regardless of whether I'm wearing leather or not. I've heard before that leather shoes are meant to be better?

All the suggestions are good.
You could also try sprinkling a fine dusting of bicarb of side in the bottom of your footwear, at the start of the day .
This is particularly useful if you devotions go barefoot, as the powder stops your foot sticking to the inside of the shoe, makes it more comfortable to walk and stand in.

Bicarb of soda, that was meant to read.

Soak your feet in black tea.

Try to have multiple pairs of shoes on the go at any time. Leather is much better than synthetic materials. If your shoes already smell, there used to be a Scholls spray that was very effective at neutralising odours. Wear cotton socks over your tights in boots.

I used to get Odaban spray from Boots for my DHs stinky feet, and it was amazing stuff. He only used it every few days but it completely stopped the smell.
