48 yr old menopausal anxious woman here ...
Uk living. So i married in 2010 and have never changed my maiden name to married name. However when I had my son in 2011 on his birth certificate I used my married name.
Kept all my documents in maiden name including passport,
When applying for sons first passport I put my maiden name on which matched my passport ,
Then when i applied for his last passport in 2022 I put my married name down even though my passport said maiden name, passport office asked for my marriage certificate job done sons passport issued
However I've messed up as I've just applied for my daughters renewal * her birth certificate says my maiden name as we had her before we married .
I've putmy maiden name down same as my passport. But I'm worried the passport office will look at my sons which says married name and ask why I'm using both names.
Or is this perfectly fine as application is the name my passport is in and daughter birth certificate is my maiden name
This is the 3rd passport my daughter has had and all been applied for using my maiden name.
I suppose in hind sight I should of just applied in married name and sent marriage certificate but I've kept my maiden name.
Oh jesus so confusing
Anyone had the same thing or am I the only weirdo that worries about these things. I'm not legally doing anything wrong but I need her passport in 2 months time for when we travel
