Hi,
We moved house and lost our elf. Dc clocked immediately that this elf who arrived is not our elf (same elf). How can I find a kind of worn elf? I have looked for second hand ones, but not seen anything.

Or how can I make this new one look old?

Tell him you moved house and each house gets their own elf because they are very territorial and have their own patch it's an elf rule lol

Maybe the elf's are assigned to geographical areas? Or perhaps this elf is a new one that's just finished his training and has been sent on a special assignment as your children are exceptional? Or maybe the original elf has had t go on a special assignment?

The north pole dispatches elves to each address rather than each family afaik

One house= one elf

My thinking about assigned to house

Maybe you can weave the story into the elf's activities? Perhaps he could be caught sending a secret spy message to the old elf? Or receiving a letter from the old elf wishing him well?

Clearly once elves have spent a few years in training in children's houses being cheeky and mischievous, they get promoted to work directly with Father Christmas in his workshop, and a new elf is sent to the children's house.
