Tell me about YORK

We are moving to york some time this year, we currently live in london
I am from yorkshire so dont need to know about it as such but just what areas are good bad ect
And also about schools.

I live about 25 miles away from York. Used to live in one of the surrounding villages though.

I don't think that there are any bad areas, tbh. Even the slightly more dodgy areas are still a hell of a lot nicer than elsewhere in the country. Have you somewhere particular in mind? Are you thinking town, city or village?

sqonk yes i looked at those villages they look nice but think maybe a little small and quiet!!
dh is going to prob work from home and maybe into london once a week which will be good
getting weekly calls from my mum now when are we moving ect she has a caravan in acaster malbis and i have an aunt who lives in sutton on the forest but they know nothing about schools
