Parking charge

Looking for advice about a parking charge. Does anyone know if it is likely this unpaid parking charge might escalate to court action?
We were legitimately parked in a car park as we were attending an appointment inside the building but we forgot to enter our car reg details on the digital screen at the reception desk.
We have presented proof of attendance at the appointment and therefore our right to use their car park but the appeal has been rejected by the private car park management company.

How did you get on OP? Definitely just pay it. It's so easy for them to do a bulk claim and get you a ccj. People will say to ignore it but the law changed years ago and they have legal basis and ease to escalate. Those saying they got away with it will likely get a ccj later as they have 6/7 years.

It's really shit if you were justified to use the car park and they've just ignored that.
