Have just applied to work as a volunteer

In the shop in the maternity block, at my local hospital.

Would only be 4 hours a week but at least I would feel less like a waste of space than I do now, and hopefully it would build up my confidence a bit.

I applied through a site called do-it.org. They list all voluntary posts in my area.

Have registered and applied for that post and it said I should hear within 10 days, and if not to contact them.

I can do pretty much any weekday at the mo, depending on the times, so hopefully they can slot me in somewhere.

Alot of the jobs that I apply for are in that hospital too, so I thought it might help with regard to that aswell.

Had an email to say that my details have been passed to the relevant person at the hospital, and so I should hear something within a few days
