Slippers/House shoes suitable for custom orthotics

Am new on the forum and would appreciate any advice. I have to wear custom orthotics and have been told I need to wear them both outdoors and indoors. I have trainers to wear outdoors but has anyone any recommendations what to wear indoors? Any brand of slippers, they have to be a full slipper, no slip on or slider style or should I just buy another pair of trainers?

Hotter have good solid slippers and the insoles are replacable in most their stuff. Some Clarks do as well. If you near to one of the outlets, Boundary Mill have both at reduced prices. To be honest, I rarely wear slippers, most of the time around the house I wear either trainers or a pair of Sketchers' furry ankle boots with my orthotics in.

You're getting good advice. My NHS podiatrist was telling me that many people undo the good job they doing with their orthotics because they only wear them in their outdoor shoes when they are actually in their indoor shoes much more.

Thanks for the advice. Was considering a pair of Sketchers as I think you can remove the insoles. My orthotist loathes sketchers but said as long as you remove the insoles and put my custom ones in should be okay.

I bought some cheap canvas summer shoes from shoezone for about £10, my orthotics are only half length but fit in easily and I've been wearing them around the house for years!

Thanks. My orthotics are full size and I have had to get men’s wide fit trainers to accommodate them so will probably have to go into shops to try them out.

I have indoor trainers and outdoor trainers. Same model. But inside ones are clean.

I wear off the shelf rather than custom orthotics and have worn them for years inside Moshulu Bo slippers which are little bootees with rubber soles.
