School Run

I don't know about anyone else, but lately on the school runs I haven't been wanting to stand and chat for 10 minutes to parents, like i normally do. I just feel it's not everyday i want to chat, just get my girl and go! So lately, I have been pretending to be on a call to make myself not free to talk, before rushing off with my daughter across the playground and out the gates lol.

Does anyone else do this? School run tomorrow, it starts again 🤣

There are signs all over my local schools saying "Greet your child with a smile, not a mobile".

So you'd probably be judged to buggery around here 🤣🤣

I don’t chat to any other parents 🤷‍♀️ just wear headphones (I don’t but have never chatted to the other parents anyway)

You're not alone - lots of mums do the same. Smile, be polite and race off during drop and pick offs. Nothing wrong with that, people have such busy lives now so difficult to stay and chat consistently everyday!
