Years ago now I used to have an acoustic version of

Richard Ashcroft performing 'A song for lovers'. It was literally him and his guitar and it was so beautiful..

It has a special meaning for me. Unfortuantely when my dd's father finally moved out of my house I think he either chucked it or threw it away.. I imagine to spite me.

That was about 5 years ago now and from time to time I often think I must hunt that version down.

I've been looking today and I can't find it.. I can find other versions but not the one I had.

If anybody knows the version I am talking about or has it or can find it for me I would be eternally greatful and would be your vitual slave forever!

uh, it's not just him and guitar on iTunes...

yeah, thats what I'm finding MAS.. and it's the acoustic version I really want as it's slower and more meaningful.. in the original version I had, he makes a really random comment in the middle of the track and sort of laughs.. it's so lovely and so natural and doesn't sound 'produced' at all iykwim..
