Any advice would help.
Split with my boys dad after 27yrs. I have full driving licence he has provisional. He was named on my insurance. This was 15yr ago. Only in last 2 yrs I managed to get a car. Just found out he still drives hasn't passed test. My question is how do I find out if he is still using my name on insurance?? Only info I have Is make of car and he's details no registration number.

TIA

I am a named driver on my wife's car insurance. That only allows me to drive her car. She can drive other cars on her insurance as she is the policy holder but as a named driver I can't.
It is probably worth speaking to your insurance company and making sure you are the only person on your policy.

If it was 15 years ago and you have not named him on your current policy he cannot be covered as a named driver on your policy.
In my first reply I thought you had named him on your current policy.
Insurance stops when you stop paying the premium, so a 15-year-old car insurance policy is no longer valid.
It is not your problem if he drives without licence or insurance as he is not driving your car.
