Car insurance claim rejected - HELP

My car was stolen in February. It has taken insurance company 6 months to decide that they are not upholding my claim on the basis that my car apparently had a built in tracker (needed subscription to be active). I was not aware of this, I purchased second hand from a car dealership. I did not activate the tracker or have an active tracker during the time I owned the vehicle. I selected ‘no’ to having a tracking device when taking out my policy and the statement of fact confirms this. Nowhere does it state in my policy that it is a requirement to have an active tracking device. Advice needed pleaseeeee…

Aresholes. Don't you just hate insurance companies? They're a bloody con!
I guess first thing is to follow the insurance companies complaints procedure.
Then when that likely fails you can take it to ombudsman/governing body level.
I've no idea really but after a faff with our own policy recently I just thought Id bump your post
