School behind me renting out their hall to noisy church on Sundays

The school behind me which previously has rented out their facilities to a Saturday school so that we had parents and kids slamming car doors and screaming on a Saturday morning (great, if you're trying to catch up on your sleep), then rented out part of the school to a junior school during the week, where they played loud music at every break time that echoed around the neighbourhood, is now renting out their hall to a large church group which has large speakers and so blasts out their singing and preaching to the whole neighbourhood again, echoing into our living room on Sunday afternoons and evenings. Then after that, the children from the church play in the school grounds and scream and shout for 2.5 hours once the church service finishes. Do we have any recourse whatsoever? It is shocking what this school gets away with, imposing their loud noise on the neighbourhood, without any consultation or consideration for the community.

Have you contacted the council noise abatement team?

Or have any of your neighbours done it?

I'd be tempted to start playing the Prodigy during their services...

I would start by talking to The School.

I am no expert but these lettings may raise planning issues in addition to 'Noise' ones so I suggest a talk to the planning department may also be in order
