Ring doorbell footage

Hi my son who is 15 and me was captured on a ring doorbell. He accidentally walked a little bit on someone's garden and she put the footage on the local Facebook group tell people to stay off her garden.

My son and me moved to get away from danger so don't need our location on Facebook. The police can do nothing.

The admin of the group is not responding.

Can someone do this?

I think she probably can yes. Can you message her and explain?

You can report the photo to Facebook, here is some information and within it is the link to report: saferinternet.org.uk/blog/help-someone-else-has-posted-a-photo-of-my-child-on-social-media#:~:text=There%20is%20a%20reporting%20portal,or%20post%20containing%20the%20image.

Yes I think she can, can you message and ask her to take it down?

Go around with your son. Get him to apologise. Then ask him to wait outside and explain to her why you need the footage removing. Assure her it won't happen again.

Thanks all sorted now it was done anonymously and I reached out on Facebook and the person took it down.

Still not sure what danger it has put us in. Will see on that one.
