GIVING UP

Terrible thing to admit but I started smoking again after my daughter was born (not during !!) and have now decided to give up - HELP

eat lots of carrots in place of fags!

Was there anything that helped you give up last time?

It was the adverts on TV over Christmas - I am really determined but hubby was supposed to join me today and is out in the garden as we speak !!!

Our GP Surgery runs a clinic - does yours? You could get into a local support group.

its the adverts on the billboards and telly that give me nightmares, esspecially the one with the little boy looking in the mirror and his 'dead' moms putting his scarf on. its the song in the background that makes me cry, i dont know what its called but it goes "you'll remember me when the west wind blows along the hills...." or something like that

The whole thing scares me ! It's so hard though ! I feel like a really awful mum for even doing it - really guilty ! Maybe I'll crack it this time [blush}
