get rid of the autofill - is that what it's called? -option on a search page like yahoo? so that when you start typing something or just double click on the search box, it doesn't come up with a list of things that have already been searched for?

thanks in advance

looking at my browser you need to go to Tools, Internet Options, Content, and check the appropriate box in Autocomplete.

That's Internet Explorer, but I'd expect it to be there for most browsers. hth

If you want to delete the items it's remembered, you can click in the search box and keep your mouse there. When the list pops up and an entry is highlighted, you just keep pressing delete until they've all gone.
