Incident in Bath ppl feeling ill

A police cordon is in place in Bath following an incident during which a number of people fell ill after a woman reportedly approached them with a bag. The incident happened in Stall Street at around 2.30pm this afternoon, Monday, July 29.
Police officers, paramedics and fire crews are at the scene. This is a live blog and we will be keeping you updated below.
Avon and Somerset Police said: "Emergency services are responding to an incident in Bath. At around 2.30pm, a woman approached people with a bag, leading to some individuals feeling unwell. The ambulance service made us aware at 3.08pm.
"As a precaution, emergency services personnel are wearing protective clothing. We are working with South Western Ambulance Service and Avon Fire and Rescue Service at the scene and have well-rehearsed plans for responding to such incidents.

Thanks for that. It is good to know it wasn’t deliberate, and important to put the record straight too.
It leaves you still wondering what it was though? 🤔I guess we’ll never know.

I've read comments on Facebook that it was perfume but I don't know how true that is :)

I was thinking that the woman found some old chemicals in her shed that was used for cleaning or gardening decades ago that is now banned and she was taking it somewhere to dispose of it but it leaked! 🤷🏼‍♀️
