Vinted postage didn’t update. Buyer revived my item but won’t pay. Vinted support is shocking ! Advice ?

Hello!

I’m looking for some advice from people who use Vinted. Or maybe had something similar happen ?

I was selling a kids trike for £40. A buyer messaged and offered £5 less. I accepted and then posted. The label was printed at the yodel store stuck on and scanned. This was all done in the allocated time provided by Vinted.

My Vinted account never updated as posted, and 2 days later the item was cancelled by Vinted.

The buyer now goes quiet. The item is delivered as I have the delivery code and an image of it on their doorstep!

still no word from the buyer. I know they have logged onto Vinted as it updates and shows their last log in time. They are reviving my messages.

I report this as an issue to Vinted and they say they can’t do anything ?! Seriously!!!!

does anyone know what I should do here? It’s really bugging me!! I feel robbed. I have the buyers full name and address ?!

You posted it before they paid? Is that a thing on there?

No the payment is usually released once the item is delivered. But as the postage was never updated so the money was refunded by Vinted to the buyer.

If you have proof of postage. Proof of delivery. Then Vinted have to investigate this.

I had a similar issues, granted not an expensive item.
Had proof of postage and of delivery with the same name recorded.
Emailed vinted with screenshots of the receipt and tracking info from yodel and they paid me.
