Cervical cauterisation

Hi,
I recently had a coloposcopy and had cells on my cervix cauterised with silver nitrate. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and any advise. The doctor said I may experience some brown discharge and bleeding and no sex until bleeding stops, however I haven’t bled and although the discharge is heavier than normal it isn’t brown.
I just haven’t been given much after care on how I should proceed and there’s a lot online but all contradicts each other.
Any advice welcome :)

I had a LLETZ procedure, might be what you’re describing? Advice was no sex for 4 weeks:

Hope you’re ok - I didn’t bleed much either I don’t think. Healed without problems 👍
