can anyone recommend a good site to help teach DS2 phonetic letters?

A lot of them seem to say capitals? DS2 likes nick jr but even that ABC game says capitals.

any good pre school sites in general much appreciated too.

That's cos it's American, jd - they do learn A, B, C over there (hence the song) - mind you I bet they are better at alphabetising than ours!

Bear with me, I'll have a look for you...BBC pre-school page - lots of tellytubbies and tweenies...will look for some more.

under fives - has words with the correct sounds listed on the left.

Most of what I've found which is educational has to be paid for.

ah - if you click on the words you get a printable worksheet for each letter...eg b is for bee, picture of smiley bee, lots of little b's to be traced over with a pencil.

cheers janH, I'll have a look at that. We do use the nickjr.co.uk site and it's english language.

DS2 has some bought cd roms, Tizzy's toybox etc.. but I had trouble loading them. Something to do with colours?
