Where to buy gifts for newborn baby

Hi. A friend of mine is due to have her baby soon. She has little to no family and I want to buy a few special luxury new born baby items eg baby book, comforter and really nice baby outfit. Where would the best place be please. Looked at the White Company but worried about their reviews lately. Thank you.

It's my first post so already worried no one has replied.

I was in The White Company back in the spring and thought it had lovely things for babies. Expensive though.
I'd be delighted with a baby gift from there.

We are still using our white company blanket we got bought I think it’s lovely and I wouldn’t have spent that much on one myself!!

I really liked the clothes I had from jojo maman bebe. The nicest comforter we had was a tigger one from John Lewis.

Mainly though I appreciated muslins and loads of vests!

Just no bloody jelly cats….. I had no idea what they were until we got 6 of them as newborn presents!!

We'll be helping them out throughout but I want this pressie to be special and include keepsakes. I mulled over JL. They had some lovely bits. Never heard of JoJo M B so will take a look. Thanks for your help.

We had never heard of that brand until we got a gorgeous gift from there. A beautiful blanket which we used the most out of all of them, lovely and soft and nice pattern, and it came in such a fancy looking gift bag etc, just all very luxury feeling and something we wouldn't have got ourselves

Also apparently Jojo mama has terrible service online.
