Missing-please help

Jack, 23 has been missing since March 2nd. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. Please help his family by reading and sharing the link below. Thank youFind Jack O’Sullivan

I have a son at uni of a similar age and we live not too far way. I think of his family every day.

I have been following this for a few weeks and was really surprised at the lack of media coverage.

I am also not surprised that Jack’s family have made a complaint against the police. The police seemed to decide right away that he had gone into the water, and wouldn’t consider anything else.

They completely missed him on CCTV and it was only when his family got the CCTV weeks later that they saw that it did show Jack in a different location.

He was also showing on findmyiphone at a specific address, several hours later. Apparently the police went and knocked there but there was no-one home so they just didn’t bother returning!

If it was a young woman I find it hard to believe that would have been dismissed so easily. I think Jack deserves so much more from the police, and an important window of time has been lost now due to their incompetent/lack of interest.

@JadePlantMagic the issue over the findmyiphone is particularly shocking. I have always found it to be really very accurate to within a house one way or the other. This is the biggest clue the police have - either Jack was there or someone had taken his phone and they were there. It is fundamental to the search and the police have been completely inept/careless in exploring this lead.

It’s shocking, and his family must feel so helpless. When I saw all the other coverage about the boy in Tenerife missing, I kept thinking about what that most feel like for Jack’s family when his case seemed to have been ignored 😢

@JadePlantMagic I couldn't agree more. It is important to keep pressure on the police via the media reporting the story (maybe by feeding them PR pieces etc).

Has anyone else other than the police been back to the house where his phone was located? I'm staggered that the police didn't follow that up.

Wow I'm so shocked that the police haven't searched at least 3 houses to cover where he / the phone may have been. This needs pushing out into the public eye. Daily Mail? Where are you when we need you?

I just googled this case after seeing it mentioned on the latest Jay Slater thread.

On reading about it, the first thing I asked myself was about the hours between when he was last seen and when he was last picked up on Find My Friends.

If it's true that this was never followed up on, it's completely shocking. His parents will be tortured by that for the rest of their days.

Poor family. It's so strange how the occasional missing person case gets so much coverage and others get none or very minimal. Hope he is found.

I am nowhere near Bristol and cannot help directly. Other than by posting (to bump)
