Discharge soaking pants and leggings

Sorry in advance this is very personal, but I’m so concerned and family members just brush me off, the nurse said I was fine and I can’t get a GP appointment.

so I had a baby last year, delivered normally. Periods returned normally afterwards. In October I got the IUD and it was fine. Around December 2023 I started to notice A LOT of very watery discharge I actually thought I was peeing myself at first because it was so much and so watery to the point I could squeeze my thighs together and feel it in my pants on my inner thighs and to the touch I can feel it from the outside of my leggings. When I move my finger tips away it’s wet. Following this I had a bit of spotting in between periods or my periods started to become really irregular. I went back to the clinic in February and they said my IUD was still in place and everything looked fine and they took swabs for STDs but everything came back clear. So they couldn’t see any issues. Ever since then I am still having a lot of discharge everyday I know it’s not pee because it doesn’t really have a smell and some times it’s thicker. Still regularly getting tiny specs of blood when I wipe after peeing. I feel so so uncomfortable everyday. Literally after showering getting my close on 5 minutes later my underwear’s wet. I’ve been forcing myself to wear panty liners but I find them so uncomfortable. I can’t get in to see the GP.

im wondering if anyone’s ever experienced this, i also have bad cramps randomly. After googling im convincing myself i have some kind of cervical cancer. Could this all be a symptom of breastfeeding? Should I get the IUD taken out? (I wouldn’t want to as I have 2 kids both from failed contraception). I’m only 24 almost 25 which seems to be a reason nobody is taking this seriously like I’m too young to have anything seriously wrong.

my first smear test is coming up soon so hopefully if there is anything seriously wrong they will identify it. Anyone gone through this?

Have you tried treatment for thrush OP? I had a very bad bout of it years ago and I initially didn’t realise because I just had very thin discharge that would soak though my underwear/trousers very quickly rather than the typical ‘cottage cheese’ appearance I had read about.

I second getting tested for thrush. I had awful problems with enormous amounts of wet discharge for years and was tested for every std under the sun multiple times. Also started worrying about cervical cancer and all sorts of horrible scenarios. Eventually, a consultant suggested thrush even though I hadn’t had any of the usual symptoms (no itching etc. or thick discharge) as that was the only test that came back positive. Had to have 6 months worth of daily treatment to clear it but it did eventually stop thanks to that (thank god!). It doesn’t seem to be widely understood that it can present like that and I was lucky that I had a knowledgable consultant.
