Two Questions

I have two unanswered questions:

  1. You know if a farms products are classed as organic, would they still be classed as organic if the farm were right beside a motorway/industrial area? I live near the M5 and fairly close to Avonmouth and there are loads of farms right next to the motorway (which is often stationary) and within spitting distance of factories. If these farms were organically rearing, would the products be classed as organic despite high levels of pollutants?
  1. Are pinenuts classed as nuts? What about coconuts? So if you are avoiding nuts in weaning would you avoid these? Only asking cos have been avoiding pesto and thai green curry but think would be OK? Baby likes tasty/spicey things so would be fine on that front.

LOL at you posting "Two Questions" thread twice

No idea about no 1.

  1. Neither are nuts, but, sometimes in the processing of them they may be 'contaminated' with other nut products.

Thai green curry would concern me because it may contain other nuts and/or groundnut oil, not because of the coconut.

HTH

Cheers! See your point about the TGC but as homemade would know only got the coconut milk in.

I know, what happened there, it's a conspiracy!
