Had planned to paint DS2's room this week. 2 walls in Alfresco Sky and two in sophistication (silver) but they don't really go together and hubby thinks the silver looks a bit chavvy. I had set my heart on the silver so while I can look for another colour to go with it - which one?! TIA.

what does ds2 think?

if he is too young to have an opinion paint the whole thing magnolia and save yoruself the hassle

He is 2 so won't care but did like the silver. It really needs doing so I might as well do a good job.

Purple / Lilac looks nice with Silver.

Or Metallic Grey - very butch.

It is a small room so need 2 walls to have a light colour.

My DS2 has a small room and all of his walls are a very dark purple (his choice) actually it's sooooo restful in there.

I want a purple bedroom next time!

Our DIY store stocks the crayola range of paints, there is a silver glitter one that is clear so can be painted over any other paint - would that match your other colour?

Have got pea pod for DS1 as he wanted green not blue and have gone for a yellow for DS2. Trying testers later ready to paint on Wednesday.

How silver is the silver? I mean is it glittery, or grey?

If it's metallicy, how about a really bright green (like lime green) or turquoise? But bright, I mean, no pastel! White woodwork.

I have painted s bit on the side all and coming up the stairs, looking almost side on, it looks grey. Looking stright at it makes it more silver. The colour is called Sophistication and I think it is the crown range.
