HAIR ADVICE PLEASE!!

Really fed up with my bleached hair and want a new look for the new year. can't afford a massive hairdressing bill at the moment so wondered is there any dye i can buy in the chemist that will turn my bleached yellow locks into golden brown? I've tried to go dark before ages ago and it went a bit green. Anyone help? (natural colour is dark brown with a bit of red)

I'm not a hairdresser but am very familiar with self induced hair disasters. To go back to dark you have to put red back in - it is almost impossible to do yourself. It really would be worth trying say a student night at a local hairdressers? They're v cheap if not free.

in other words are you advising not to do it Student nights a good idea, might look into that one.
