Fusebox worries!

Hi all,
This may seem ridiculous to some but I don't like where our fusebox is as it is in the room underneath one of the larger bedrooms in our house (in the garage.) At the moment the bedroom is a spare room but thinking longterm, I reckon eventually my eldest child will ask to move into that room as his current room is much smaller. I know I would worry about him sleeping above the garage where the fusebox is. Is this ridiculous? Does anyone else's child have a bedroom above the room where the fusebox is located? I realise I will sound ott to some! I'm not this ott about everything but do tend to have anxiety when it comes to emf and electrical/wireless things! 🙈

You are being rediculous it is a fusebox not a bomb.

What are your concerns?

I'm not sure I understand the problem? If it's about fire then anyone in any room is at risk surely? I think it's fine op 😊

Thanks for your replies. I really do appreciate that to most I will sound silly and I did expext a similiar reaponse to what I have had so far! Haha! It's the radiation I'm concerned about. The electrics giving off emf. I guess I was just looking for reassurance by others saying they use bedrooms above rooms with fuseboxes to put my mind at ease 😊

Fuse boxes giving off radiation?! That's a new one to me...

Of course people use bedrooms above fuse boxes. You're worrying over nothing.

If you are worried about a fuse box are you not also worried about all the electric cabling and appliances you have such as a microwave, or hairdryer or washing machine?
You know you are being daft, you don’t need us to tell you.
My only concern regarding a fuse box is being able to reach the bloody thing when something causes it to trip - trying to flip a switch for maintenance etc is annoying when it’s 10 ft up a stair well and its
dark. At least in a garage it should be easy to reach!

Yes, a fusebox emits an electromagnetic field. As will the rest of the wiring in your house. And your fridge magnets. And the planet we live on.

What is it about an EMF that you're concerned about?

Kindly suggest you get off YouTube and start living your life. Are you also worried about the covid in the 5g?
