I went to the nurse on my birthday due to a lump in my armpit which had been there for a couple of months but had started hurting and felt different. She said it was probably a fatty lump but booked me in with the Dr to get a second opinion.

I went to my drs appointment and she didn't agree with the nurse and after her checking my breasts for any other lumps she decided to refer me to the beast clinic.

I had my appointment yesterday which was meant to be an ultrasound scan. Instead, for the third time, I had a Dr feel the lump. She said she wasn't concerned, that it was probably off shaving or could be a cyst. So she sent me home.

The thing is when the bump first appeared I hadn't shaved in a while because it was winter and I didn't see the point. I guess she feels lumps everyday so knows better than me but in bed that night I couldn't sleep. I think if she'd done the ultrasound I maybe would have felt a bit more positive about it but instead I feel like what if she's missed something.

I'm probably just over thinking it.
Do I get a second opinion or just keep an eye on it like she said to do and hope that it is what she says it is?

Go back. A follicle would've sorted itself by now. They should've done the ultrasound if you were at the clinic.
