Probably been done before but was feeling bored. What are your phobias, or even things that make you feel uncomfortable?

I don't like stairs with the gaps. I think one small slip and broken leg. Makes me nauseous. I can't have anyone file my nails, shame as a manicure sounds like a nice treat. Swimming pools emptied out freak me out but no idea why. Hate anyone touching my neck.

Mine are boring spiders and heights!

Dd22 has a phobia of kitchen roll or napkins. She can't even look at them let alone touch them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I thought ibwas the one who was freaked out my stairs with gaps. Gaps plus spiral and I swear, I'd faint.

Heights - anything over 3 foot and I become a useless blubbering sad sack of humanity.

Sandwiches… if made from pre cut loaf bread. A childhood phobia stemming from abuse really. I easily avoid them except at work meetings when the trays come out. Find them disgusting to look at.

In some kind of order: Needles. Public speaking. Claustrophobia. Spiders. Heights.

Getting stuck - especially if swimming, ie diving under the floating dock in the lake and getting turned around or snagged on something
I watch cave diving videos to scare myself

Too many.

In order of severity: Flying, heights, public speaking, seeing prominent veins on myself or others.

Phobias I've recovered from: injections and blood tests (I became T1 diabetic so I had to inject or die), anyone touching my eyeballs (I learned to wear contact lenses driven by sheer vanity as a teenager).

Emetophobia, or, anything to do with nausea/vomit. Me or anyone else. It's led to a lot of years of disordered eating and letting life revolve around it. For a long time I knew I wouldn't be able to have children because of it. Very lucky to have been able to control it more in recent years and have a DD.

Needles
I never even had blood taken, even when pregnant. it was deemed dangerous for me, my DD and staff due to my physical reaction of attack to save myself and the resulting panic attack once i felt id got to a safe distance

Ive refused to see a dr when i broke my foot and elf medicated for pain
Stabbed my finger to the bone with rusty scissors in the garden - no dr seen
Been sacked over vaccine mandates
I do not do needles at all
