Hi Netters,
I got 'served' a Section 33 notice yesterday, it's dated Friday 22nd but the post where I live is extremely slow at the moment (unless you pay for special/signed for delivery it seems!). The letter says something with my address was found where rubbish had been dumped and what I am worried about is (as well as prison) is I wrote a letter back to them yesterday. as requested via recorded delivery ,to the enforcement offices (I tried ringing them but complaints/emails have to be done in writing, and I wanted it to get there on time as the notice arrived late) but presumably there won't be anyone to sign for it tomorrow / Saturday/ Monday due to BH weekend, and so they'll receive the letter on Tuesday or Wednesday which will give them ammunition to fine/prosecute. Is it worth me contacting them through their website in the morning? I have said in the letter that I received it Thursday 28th, when it's dated Friday 22nd March. I believe the enforcement company is 3GS.

So you paid what you thought was a reputable contractor to take the rubbish to a tip but the fly tipped?

@MrsSkylerWhite Hello! no, my rubbish is collected by the council. I live on a high street so rubbish has to be left out in sacks (I tried ordering a bin when I moved in and was told to put my rubbish in black sacks by council). The letter says the rubbish was found at one address but the photos are showing where I (and many others in my road) leave our rubbish for collection the next day. The day of the investigation was a Sunday night and so our rubbish would have been collected the next morning.

@MrsSkylerWhite sorry I just realised where I hadn't made myself clear, I'm quoting the letter where it says ''the rubbish being dumped'', basically the address in the letter (where they claim rubbish was dumped) is not the same location in the photos they attached. Apologies again
